Warm Up

Upbeat music for encouraging general movement, waltz, rhythmic, folk dance,
Then stretch out
Introducing noticing each other, if you haven’t already
Working together eg.
Crossing the room
Making shapes, saying hallo, character dance, humorous
Increase focus:
bring in a theme or work on/develop ideas you have observed in the group

Stretch out, remember/revisit themes, ideas, warm up
Comfortable place
Relaxation lying sitting, encourage exhalation and deep breathing - don’t insist on closing eyes or lying down,
Gently observe group, some people can hit, grief, distress when resting, be ready to help, comfort support under head, bend knees..etc sit beside or get support discreetly if sad.
Quiet music/song/silence
Gently talk back into awareness of the room, sounds around them, wiggle fingers, toes, yawning stretching, roll over before sitting up if on floor, give a chair beside them to help get back up, rather then assisting
Into circle
3 bows breaths in and out with stretching up and down,
Thanks, and quiet applause
End
Time for reassurance positive feedback if needed - be available for up to 15 mins then get out promptly.
News can be given beginning or end and in circle
